So I just want to start off by saying that I'm not a licensed professional or Doctor. This is all from my own personal experiences while dealing with this Coronavirus in Texas.
I live in Dallas where my city has just been put on a citywide shutdown except for the necessary items and essential workers (Doctors, Nurses, Policeman, Firefighters etc.) and life is just as it's always been and there is this rational fear that does creep up and it does scare me but as I really think about it I always try to distance myself from that fear and give myself time to breathe.
It's one thing to be scared but it's another to go into a full blown panic attack, I may not understand others fears but I can empathize with you on that as well. I work at a Hospital here and going out I do feel like sometimes I fear more than anything I have ever felt in my life but for the millions across the world who have to quarantine the mental stress it causes is unbearable. The reason why I'm writing this sometimes coping with being inside is actually one where we do feel the safest and as well it gives us a chance to unwind and be with our loved ones, plus the other benefit is that the rationalization of fear is one where everyone can agree with and come to terms that it is not a sign of weakness but rather a natural human emotion.
It's okay to let the sun shine in open a slither in the windows and enjoy some air or let some rays in just don't be stupid and be safe just follow the rules and go out only if you need to.
So if you have any suggestions that's what this community is here for to help us cope with this difficult time and gives us a sense of security as well mental being.
SO HERE'S TO ANOTHER DAY AND STAY SAFE, CLEAN TAKE CARE AND HAVE A COLD ONE FOR US!!! P.S. (DON"T FORGET TO THANK ALL OF THE UNIFORMS WHO ARE OUT THERE RISKING THEIR LIVES FOR US!!!!!)
THANKS TO ALL THE FIREFIGHTERS, DOCTORS, POLICE OFFICERS, NURSES, MILITARY PERSONNEL AND THE LIKE!!!!!
Yours Truly,
Xavier
