It's all about the sequels come on!!!

Updated: May 25, 2020

Sequels, sequels and more sequels is what some of us want when it comes to games and the like. But for some odd reason it's the games that entice us the most are the one's that gives us all this feeling of wanting more of the continuation of a great story.

This is a tiny but teeny tiny mini list of games that left us hanging and off of a cliff, some on this list shouldn't be too much of a shocker.

Well if you're ready then I am going to start this one off with a favorite.

1. Horizon Zero Dawn

Release Date: February 28, 2017

Developers: Guerrilla Games

Ah what can I say? Except this is one is worthy of a remake like reading a really good book with the ending at a cliff hanger. I have to give credit where credit is due, the developers at Guerrilla Games shattered expectations with Horizon. In all of the years that I've played video games this is probably one of the best I have played in a while because of the story-telling, awe inspiring graphics and the protagonist alongside with some interesting character development (Let's not forget about a world with robot prehistoric creatures) this is one of those games that definitely left us on the edge of our seats.

Interesting to say the least, I will be definitely keeping an eye out for updates on how Horizon Zero Dawn 2 will play out. Stay Tuned

2. Marvel's Spider-Man

Release Date: September 7, 2018

Developer: Insomniac Games

Our friendly neighborhood web slinging hero back into action with Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man, in this telling version we have this story told from a multi-view perspective of characters and a great supporting cast. I can't say enough about this game or the developers who put their time and effort into creating this amazing game. The gameplay is amazing and as well the freedom to swing around and explore is a typical Spider-Man asset. The one thing of many things about this game that I like most is the different character roles you are able to play with Miles and Mary Jane plus the different costumes along with their abilities among my favorite is the Iron Spider Suit (A damn good suit should I say)!!!!!

I really hope that we do get a Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and hopefully get to play as Miles as Peter passes the torch to the new generations of New York's Finest Hero!!!!!

3. L.A. Noire

Release Date: May 17, 2011

Developers: Team Bondi, Rockstar North, Rockstar Leeds, Rockstar San Diego, Rockstar New England, Virtuos

One of the greatest crime games ever in my opinion with innovative facial technology L.A. Noire was beyond its time when Rockstar Games released this game in 2011. This story gives us the perspectives of our main Protagonist Cole Phelps a WWII Veteran in his own quest for social justice and personal redemption we see a troubled Phelps face corruption and many other perils along with his own personal demons try to navigate the wild west 1947 Los Angeles (No Diss at all to LA, Texas Loves Y'all). Along with Phelps we have our other protagonist of the game Jack Kelso try to navigate the perils of war, Phelps's courage of cowardice, politics and the seedy underworld of corruption.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion but, I thoroughly enjoyed the tiny aspects including the ridiculous faces when deciding if the witness or criminals were lying, telling the truth or doubt it added to the mystique with some of the characters. Even the chases were just hilariously good, just the side missions and simple conversations (with the criticisms of your partners and the surrounding community when it came to driving XD)!!!!!

Since Whore of The Orient is no longer in progress due to Team Bondi now defunct we'll never get the sequel but it happens maybe one day we'll get the sequel.

4. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Release Date: November 15, 2019

Developers: Respawn Entertainment

@#$%ing (Bleep) I really really enjoyed this game, I don't even know why but it made me feel whole again it was a Star Wars game and not a cash grab scheme. I have to give credit where credit is due and Respawn y'all kick ass!!!!!

Fallen Order only gave us a glimpse into what actually developers can do if given a good storyline and some experimentation into combat but also an open world adventure. My only complaint as others have told me is the story was too short (I agree friends) could've been longer and Darth Vader was very OP which is expected but he can be beat which has been proven a few times. (That's for a different day), but overall I want just a little more some DLC's just to add some more adventure to our young Jedi Cal Kestis.

I guess we'll have to wait until that day happens but for now let's enjoy what we have for now since we have been graced with the opportunity to even see this game.
